That’s really the quintensential question, isn’t it? Who am I? Among other things…

I am an educator, Reiki healer/teacher, and writer; three interconnected themes that run throughout my day-to-day life and throughout this website.

I am a Reiki Master/Teacher. I have been practicing Reiki since 1998 and received my Reiki Master certification, the highest level of training, in 2006. I have trained with Reiki Masters in Maryland and North Carolina and can often be found participating at local healing circles and events. I changed my business model from casually practicing and teaching Reiki with friends and neighbors to creating a professional practice in 2009.

I also teach preschool that mostly follows the “Progressive Education” philosophy. It is discovery- and play-based learning. We, as educators, provide the opportunities for the children to make their own discoveries about how the world works.

I love to write about Reiki, obviously, plus metaphysics, holistic stuff, book reviews, spirituality, and how it has affected me or how I can share what I’ve learned with you. Don’t forget living simply and naturally and positive parenting. I love to learn and I love to share what I’ve learned. Get me started on a topic I’m passionate about, and I won’t stop. Now, I don’t have to. I can put it all here.
